Sunny Pre-Wedding Shoot In Holmes Chapel : Captured By Slice Of Pie Photography

Today's pre-wedding shoot with Laura and Emyr in the sunny surroundings of Holmes Chapel was a lot of fun. As professional photographers, we treasure these sessions because they allow us to get to know the couple before their big day. These relaxed, casual shoots help the couple get comfortable with the camera and provide a chance to discuss their wedding plans in detail.

Laura and Emyr are getting married later this month at the stunning Hilltop Country House in Prestbury, a picture perfect country home local to us that we're fortunate enough to be recommended by.

We can't wait for Laura and Emyr's big day later this month it's going to be fabulous!

Magical Wedding at Talhenbont Hall: Captured By Slice Of Pie Photography

Here's a throwback to an unforgettable wedding at Talhenbont Hall, just 10 minutes from Criccieth and just 20 minutes from Abersoch where Laura and Sam's romantic celebration was full of positive vibes. As the husband and wife duo behind Slice of Pie Photography, we were excited to document every magical moment of their special day.

Armed with our Canon DSLRs and drone, we immersed ourselves in the celebration, capturing the positive atmosphere intertwined with the romance of the occasion. From the intimate moments during the ceremony at Penarth Fawr to the fun festivities at Talhenbont Hall, every detail spoke volumes about Laura and Sam's love and commitment to each other.

The timeless charm of the old hall and the modern elegance of the barn conversion at Talhenbont Hall never fails to captivate us.

The reception drinks and canapés were served in the old hall and on the lawn, where guests enjoyed the picturesque surroundings and mingled in the warm sunshine. Adding a quirky twist to the occasion, llamas were also present on the lawn, entertaining guests.

The wedding breakfast and evening celebrations took place in the modern barn, boasting sleek design and stylish decor. The incredible pops of colour from the floral displays and epic wreaths by Springbank Flowers added to the vibe of the day.

One of the highlights of the day was photographing Laura and Sam in the breathtaking grounds surrounding Talhenbont Hall. From romantic strolls through lush gardens to playful moments by the picturesque pond, every frame captured the love and joy shared between the couple. These shots not only showcased the beauty of the landscape but also captured the essence of Laura and Sam's special bond in a truly enchanting setting.

We also ventured to the coast in Criccieth, which was windy but incredibly fun for taking photos. The dramatic coastal winds added a lively and dynamic element to our photography, capturing Laura and Sam against the stunning backdrop of the sea, and Criccieth Castle which made for some truly breathtaking moments.

Laura and Sam danced to the unforgettable music of Pres Llareggub Brass Band, surrounded by their loved ones. Their wedding was a true celebration of love, and we feel privileged to have been a part of it.

We’d also like to mention that we’re really proud to be recommended by this incredible venue, which always ensures a wonderful experience for every couple. Alicia, the owner of Talhenbont, is on hand all day to ensure everything runs smoothly, adding to the seamless flow of your wedding.

Dunham Massey Pre-Wedding Photo Shoot By Slice Of Pie Photography

Saturday's pre-wedding shoot at Dunham Massey was an absolute dream! Picture-perfect weather, vibrant tulips and delicate bluebells created the most enchanting backdrop, confirming that spring is in the air.

Meet Jess and Phil, the delightful couple whose laughter and affection lit up every frame of our photo shoot. They even brought along their adorable dog, Eric, adding an extra touch of charm to the day. As we meandered through the picturesque gardens, it felt like stepping into a romantic fairy tale.

Jess and Phil, who are set to tie the knot at the stunning Styal Lodge in September, were recommended to us by Phil's sister, whose wedding we had the pleasure of photographing previously. It's moments like these that remind us why we love what we do.

Erin and Chris' Mottram Hall Wedding Photos

What a day Erin and Chris had at Mottram Hall.

The day started with Laura photographing the bridal preparations and details at Mottram Hall. The lace dress from Blush Boutique was beautiful, the flowers by Red Floral Architecture were amazing as always and the hair and makeup by Bridal Hair and Makeup Of Cheshire looked incredible too!

Mark met Chris and the boys who were looking super smart in their suits from Moss Bros before heading into the hall where Erin and Chris were married by Your Ceremony. The ceremony room was perfectly styled by Lasting Memories and lit with masses of candles by Red Floral Architecture.

The team at Mottram made sure that the drinks were flowing all day, the guests had loads of canapes and an amazing wedding breakfast.

The evening was kicked off with the cutting of the cake from The Frostery which can only be described as spectacular and national award winning DJ Andy Murphy was on the decks and took the party to the next level.

To sum up the day it was the perfect English summer wedding with a load of sparkle. It was a total pleasure to work with so many friends in the industry who always go the extra mile to make sure the bride and groom have the perfect day!

What a day we had at the Wellbeing Farm for their Quirky Wedding Fair, lots fun and frolics and loads of brides having a look around the farm getting ideas and inspiration for their wedding day.

Elizabeth and John's Pre-Wedding Photos in Manchester

We had such a blast with Elizabeth and John for their pre-wedding photo shoot. Manchester Pride was on so we managed to incorporate some of the vibrant colours around town and also managed to get shots in the Northern Quarter, quirky romantic shots on the escalators at The Arndale, and even some atmospheric shots at the wonderful Mackie Mayor where we ended up eating pizza and drinking beer after the photo shoot. Genuinely can't wait for their wedding at the fabulous Styal Lodge tomorrow.

Amanda & Daniel's Styal Lodge Wedding Photos

Amanda and Daniel's wedding at Styal Lodge is definitely one to remember.

The day started with Laura capturing the bridal preparations and details at Amanda's parents' home. The dress from Maria Modes was stunning and the flowers by Special Days were simply beautiful. Amanda's elegant hair and makeup was in the hands of the talented Nyla Ambreen and her team.

Mark met Danny and the boys at Danny's parents' house to get a few shots of them having a beer in their dapper suits from Whitfield and Ward before they all headed off for the ceremony at St Winnifreds.

The bride and groom were driven in style by Horgans Wedding Cars to the reception at the idyllic S tyal Lodge. The Lodge had been beautifully styled by Special Days and also had some fab love lights by Qube Events. On arrival the guests were treated to canapés by Top Table and were entertained with music by the fabulous Didsbury String Quartet.

Georgie and her team at Styal always go the extra mile to make sure all the guests and the bride and groom have a day to remember and Anette from Top Table went above and beyond as always and served up some mouth watering food.

The evening was kicked off by award winning DJ Andy Murphy who always gets the party started, he was also joined by the amazing Richard Sanderson Band who feature the fiddle player from Lord of the Dance.

Throughout the day we worked alongside Big Picture Wedding Videography who were a joy to work with.

To sum up the day it was amazing and it was a total pleasure to work with so many friends in the industry who we think are the best!

Megan and Ben's pre-wedding shoot was such a fab afternoon, they brought their daughter Florence along who added that extra bit of fun to the photo shoot.

We met at Lyme Park as it is a place which means a lot to both Megan and Ben then it was off to Stock Farm where they are getting married.

Hannah and Darren's Nunsmere Hall Wedding Photos

Hannah & Darren's wedding was one to remember, Hannah's experience as a wedding coordinator means she has met a loads of wedding photographers so when she asked us to photograph her wedding we were very flattered!

The day started with Laura capturing the bridal preparations and details at Nunsmere Hall Hotel. The dress from Cheadle Bride was exquisite and the flowers by Living Colour Flowers in Stockton Heath looked incredible.

Mark met Darren and the boys in Stockton Heath to get a few shots of them looking dapper in their suits from Groom Hire before the the ceremony at S t Thomas'.

The reception was held at the award winning Nunsmere Hall Hotel just outside Chester within the beautiful Delamere Forrest. The drinks reception took place in the hall with guests also enjoying the hotel's beautiful grounds. The meal was served overlooking the water in the lakeside marquee. Later in the evening Six15 got the party started in their signature style with amazing atmospheric lighting by Hipswing.

To sum up the day it was one we will never forget! Hannah and Darren gave us 5 stars in their review on facebook so it's happy days all round!

A beautiful summer wedding styled photo shoot at Capesthorne Hall

What a fab shoot we had at the incredible Capesthorne Hall. We were fortunate to have sunshine for most of the day and the bluebells were in full bloom which is always a bonus!

Modelling on the day was the beautiful Chloe who has just come in the top ten in Miss Manchester, big thanks have to go to Chloe for being so professional and fun to work with!

The hair and makeup was by the talented Vicky Adamson and the venue dressing and flowers were by the fabulous Jacky from Precious Things.

Emma from Maria Modes in Macclesfield kindly provided five dresses for the day which included Le Jardin Butterfly Dress by Ian Stuart, Nalani by Maggie Sottero, Drimea by Pronovias, Drabea by Pronovias and Cressida by Maggie Sottero. There were also two stunning hairpieces, one by Amanda Wyatt and another one by Ivory & Co.

Thank you to all involved for making it such a great day and a special thanks has to go to Christine and her team at Capesthorne for making us so welcome as always!

A rustic styled shoot at the beautiful Alcumlow Hall Farm Wedding Barn in Cheshire

What an incredible day in the sunshine.

Alcumlow Hall Farm Wedding Barn was the location and it is stunning! The the wedding barn itself is rustic and has a real wow factor whilst the outside compliments it with rustic areas and a contemporary structure giving it a unique edge.

On the day we had two great models, Jas & Jordan who threw themselves into the shoot right from the start. Jas looked beautiful in dresses by Ellis and Veromia from Adeava Bridal in Macclesfield and Jordan was looking very smart in his suit, waistcoat and shoes from Whitfield and Ward in Wilmslow.

The flowers by The White Room in Macclesfield were amazing and to top it off there were exquisite cakes from The Sugared Thistle, ice cream from Snugburys and even bride teacups and saucers from Slice of Pie Designs.

Thank you to Charlie at Alcumlow Hall Farm and all involved, a great day was had by all!

We loved every minute of Carey and Jim's amazing Wedding, it was obvious from the moment we met them that they were made for each other!

The day started with Laura capturing the bridal preparations and details at Carey's childhood home. The dress from Maria Modes by Mori Lee was exquisite and the flowers by Artistry in Flowers looked incredible.

Mark met Jim and the boys at the Leigh Arms in Prestbury to get a few shots of them looking dapper in their suits from Whitfield and Ward before they all headed over the road for the ceremony at St Peter's Church.

The reception was at Adlington Hall which is one of our favourite venues. Bridget and her team always go the extra mile to make sure all the guests and the bride and groom have a day to remember and the food by Barretts is always top notch.

To sum up the day it was one we will never forget and it was great to work with so many friends. Jim and Carey also said in their thank you card "it felt more like we had friends photographing the day", we totally agree!
